The film of Beregovo amateur filmmakers about a well-known Transcarpathian won a prestigious award (VIDEO)

The documentary film "Doctor Linner" by Rita and Szabolcs Bunda has been made available on YouTube, the karpatnews reported.

The film was shot using mixed technique with dramatic re-enactment starring actors of the Beregovo Hungarian Drama Theater added to the documentary part (from the memoirs of eyewitnesses and researchers). In May of this year, the cast and crew of the film became the laureats of the 5th festival "Savaria Film Festival" in Hungary.   

The film of the Beregovo film-makers won the 3rd prize in the special nomination "Foreign Hungarian Film". It is noteworthy that the authors, Rita and Szabolcs Bunda, are not professional directors, but being creative people, they coped with the task perfectly. At the end of 2017, the film was presented tin Beregovo during the conference on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the outstanding surgeon and wine maker Bertolon Linner, which took place in the open hall-atrium of the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute.

The creators of the film are planning to make Ukraine subtitles to it (because full dubbing would be rather difficult). Currently, you can watch it in the original on the author’s YouTube channel
