On Thursday, March 21, at 5:30 pm, the screening of the film "Mountain Woman at War" will be held in the Transcarpathian Regional Scientific Universal Library within the framework of the All-Ukrainian festival "New Ukrainian Cinema".
"Mountain Woman at War" is a co-production of Ukraine, France and Iceland directed by Benedict Erlingsson. The world premiere of the film took place at the Cannes Film Festival, where "Woman at War" was awarded the prize for the best music. Jody Foster is planning to remake the film about an eco-activist and play the leading role in it.
From March 1 to April 30, the first film club festival "New Ukrainian Cinema" will be held in Ukraine. Anyone can hold the festival in their city – curators of film clubs and activists, who can offer space for shows, are invited to cooperation. To do this, you need to leave an application on the site of the project "Film Club. All-Ukrainian Network". The rights to films are granted for non-profit screenings.
