The press conference on the 11th festival of winemakers "Ugocsa Vine", to be held in Vynogradiv on 7 and 8 of May, 2016, took place in the Uzhgorod Press Club.
According to the expert on tourism Fedir Shandor, the program of the festival includes "Wine route by Borzhava narrow gauge", the "Vine Vynogradiv" tour, folk program at the station of Oleshnyk and visit to the museum, a tour of the village of Shalanky, visit to the art exhibition of Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine Mykola Horonhozo and many more interesting events.
Mykhailo Rusanyuk, the head of Vynogradiv District State Administration said: "Our festival had a two years break. The difference and advantage of this year’s event compared to previous festivals is a completely new festival format and varied program. The main theatrical part of the festival will be held on May 8 at the Pereni palace. On the day before, the tour "Wine Route" by Borzhava narrow gauge will be held. The intermediate stage of the sightseeing tour will be, for example, a workshop on making of barrels which the village of Shalanky is famous for. By the way, Ferenc Rakoczy II stopped there. The program also includes a theatrical parade and exhibition of winemakers’ products."
Ethno-cultural band "Chalamada", which has gained international recognition, will be headlining the musical part of the festival.
