The feat of the participants of the Revolution of Dignity will be commemorated in Transcarpathia (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On Wednesday, February 20, Transcarpathia and Ukraine as a whole will celebrate the Day of the Heaven Hundred Heroes.

At 11:00 am, near the memorial to the fighters for freedom and independence of Ukraine (Naроdna sq., 3, next to the administration building of the Uzhgorod National University), and in the evening, on the balcony of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, they will light up lanterns in memory of the Heaven Hundred Heroes – the participants of the Revolution of Dignity, who sacrificed their lives defending the European choice of Ukraine.

In addition, fifty works of Transcarpathian photojournalists depicting landmark events of Uzhgorod Euromaidan will be exhibited in the atrium of the Regional State Administration.

Recall that the Day of the Heaven Hundred Heroes was established by the decree of the President of Ukraine No. 69/2015 dd. February 11, 2015 and is celebrated annually on February 20.

In the morning on Wednesday, February 20, traffic and parking on the segment of the road on Narodna square from the administration building of UzhNU to the building of the Transcarpathian RSA will temporarily be restricted.
