The favorite figure of Uzhgorod residents is back

The bronze character of Jaroslav Hasek, for several months was being fixed up in Hungary, and finally has been put on his old place, the Varosh reported.

Uzhgorod Schweik was taken for restoration in August without warning the public who raised a hype about the loss.

The author of the sculpture Mykhailo Kolodko decided to slightly renovate his own creation, which is perhaps the most successful and popular of all the other mini-sculptures of the city.

The Good Soldier was put on the railing of Uzhgorod embankment in July 2012. In April this year, the clone of the Uzhgorod Schweik settled in the Czech town Lipnice nad Sazavou.
