Probably, for the first time in Uzhgorod, lindens began to blossom in the second decade of May: the longest linden alley in Europe on the embankment of the Uzh is already attracting with the blossom and, especially, with the smell. Lindens, along with magnolias, sakuras, tulip and other trees, are the highlights of the regional center of Transcarpathia.
By the way, the Czechoslovak designers, who made the alley in the 1930’s, planted different types of lindens, which bloom not all at once, but gradually, thus prolonging the time that you can admire them.
