The famous chimney sweep of Mukachevo has become the “Honorary Citizen of the city”

The corresponding decision to award Bertalon Bertalonovich Tovt the title of "Honorary Citizen of Mukachevo" was approved at a meeting of the regular session.
The 70-year-old Berti-bacsi is known as the legend of Mukachevo, 10 years ago a monument to him was erected in the central part of the city. In recent years, the Parade of Chimney Sweeps, which also takes place in the city, has been dedicated to him.
He has been working as a chimney sweep for more than half a century and promotes this profession, teaches young people, the Mukachevo City Council reported.
