The executive committee intend to prolong permits for 10 (!) billboards in the city center

The 15th item on the agenda of the tomorrow’s meeting of the Executive Committee is nothing else but "On prolongation and reissuance of permits for outdoor advertising."

In particular, it is planned to prolong the permits for infamous billboards on the pedestrian bridge poles until October 1, 2014. It is these billboards that the public protests against, and they even reached a verbal confirmation of the intention to remove the billboards that spoil the look of the center from their owner.

However, the city government apparently believes otherwise – that the boards are very beneficial to the city, and intends to prolong permits for 10 boards. The permission is to be issued for a private enterprise "Galera-777."

Remember – the executive committee publicly prolonged the moratorium on the installation of advertisements in the historical center and, logically, the prolongation of permits for such billboards, which, in the opinion of the public, must be dismantled, should be out of the question.

In addition, by the same decision the Executive Committee will consider the reissuance of the permit for infamous advertising fence at the corner of Mytna and Sobranetska streets.
