The Executive Committee decided what to improve in the center of Uzhgorod

Members of Uzhgorod city hall approved the draft decision, according to which the repair of buildings in the city center shall be regulated.

At the session, the City Council deputies agreed to allocate the money for this purpose and adopted the program.

 
According to the document, the program provides for measures to improve the aesthetic appearance of the historic center outlined by Korzo street – Voloshin street – Teatralna sq. – Dukhnovich street – S.Petofi sq.

 
At the expense of the local budget, major repairs of roofs and facades of buildings in the communal property will be performed, except for facade areas belonging to non-residential premises of those buildings.

That is, they will repair the buildings which are formally served by utilities. First floors, as planned, will be repaired at the expense of shop owners.
