The Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic gave the evening of music composed by Sergei Pachmaninov to the admirers of the Russian composer, pianist and conductor of the first half of the twentieth century, informs Zakarpatia online. On April 1 the bright representative of piano art would have turned 139 years.
The concert program included romances romances ‘Uzh ty, niva moya’ (‘Oh, you, my husbandry’), (‘I fell in love, for my sadness’), ‘Pora’ (‘It is time’), ‘Utro’ (‘Morning’) in the performance of Honored Artist of Ukraine Oksana Ilnytska (mezzo-soprano), accompanied by renowned pianist, soloist of the Transcarpathian regional philharmonic Etella Tchupryk.
One of the works written by the composer in the mature period of life, is the sonata for cello and piano op. 19, which was masterfully performed by the laureate of international competitions Diana Havata (cello) and Honored Artist of Ukraine Etella Tchupryk. In the performance of latter the audience enjoyed the piano miniatures composed by the great Russian composer.
