The European Parliament voted to grant visa-free regime with the EU for Ukraine.
According to the "Yevropeiska Pravda", the voting took place during the second part of the plenary session of the EP.
The majority of MEPs voted for approval of the draft legislative resolution on including Ukraine to the list of third countries whose nationals shall be exempt from visa requirements.
After the voting in the European Parliament, the visa-free regime for Ukraine must be approved in the EU Council. It is expected that the visa-free regime for Ukraine may actually take effect in early June.
