The “Energy Company of Ukraine” transferred 25% of the “Zakhidenergo” to the State Property Fund

NAC "Energy Company of Ukraine" transferred 25% of the power generating company "DTEK Zakhidenergo" JSC to the State Property Fund.

According to the report of the generating company in the system of information disclosure of the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market, the change in ownership of shares took place on December 18, 2014.

As reported, the government intends to put the blocking stake of the "Zakhidenergo" up for privatization.

The "Zakhidenergo" operates 23 units at Burshtin, Ladyzhinsk and Dobrotvir TPPs in total capacity of 4607.5 MW.

The vertically integrated private energy holding of Ukraine "DTEK" owns 70.91% of the company. The state owns the blocking stake of the "Zakhidenergo" in amount of 25% of the shares.
