The driver of the tanker, that burned today in Uzhgorod, is in the intensive care unit

As uzhgorod.in reported, today, in the industrial area of the city there was an emergency. People saw a black smoke rising from the area.

According to the leading specialist of public relations department of the State Emergencies Service in Transcarpathian region Vladislav Stolets, rescuers were reported on the fire by phone at 12.35, at 12.50 the fire was localized, and at 13.30 it was eliminated. According to the representative of the rescue service, a VAZ tanker with flammable substances was burning (most likely it was oil, since petrolium depot is located nearby – uzhgorod.in).

As a result of the fire, the tanker driver received burns, now he is in the intensive care unit of the regional hospital.
