A meeting of the interagency working group on preparation of the proposals on the administrative-territorial structure of Transcarpathian region took place today, on November 18.
It was conducted by the deputy head of the RSA Oleksiy Hetmanenko. The meeting was attended by: the First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Yosyp Borto and his deputy Petro Hrytsyk, deputy of the Regional Council Petro Dobromilsky, the Head of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture Mykola Pigulyak, and others.
As you know, on September 26, deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council voted for the Prospective plan for the formation of communities of Transcarpathian region with 60 united communities.
At the meeting it was said that the regional state administration had considered the draft decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on approval of the Prospective plan for the formation of territorial communities of Transcarpathian region, which included 52 communities. Accordingly, eight communities of the region were recognized as not meeting the requirements of the Government Methodology. The head of the Regional State Administration Igor Bondarenko has prepared a corresponding letter to the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, in which he approves the draft of the mentioned decree.
The working group voted unanimously for the decision to approve the draft decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to approve the Prospective plan for the formation of territorial communities of Transcarpathian region so that 52 united communities could start their activities and to make critical remarks to it to protect the interests of the other eight communities.
