The disaster caused Transcarpathia losses at 125 million hryvnias

While 1 million hryvnias is planned to be allocated for flood relief in Ivano-Frankivsk region, Transcarpathian region estimates the damage from the bad weather at 125 million hryvnias.

This is stated on the page of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, the Ukrainian News reported.

"The preliminary amount of infrastructure damage in the region – those are destroyed roads of local and state importance, shore protection, dams, bridges – is 125 million hryvnias. The damage caused by the flood to homes and households is being estimated by specially created commissions on the ground," – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksiy Petrov reported.

According to the latest information, Rakhiv district was most affected by the flood.

A total of 12 settlements in 3 districts of the region were affected by the disaster.

The water level in the upper part of the Tisa has dropped, the overflows on the roads stopped.

Currently, there is a threat of overflow over low-lying section of the road in Khust district, the situation is being monitored.

At the moment, due to the high water level, it is impossible to estimate the total amount of damage.
