The director of Uzhgorod “Turbogaz” commented on the emergency which occurred at the company

As we reported, last night in one of the shops of the "Turbogaz" plant, there was an emergency which resulted in severe injury of an employee.

We contacted the director of the "Turbogaz" PJSC Mykhailo Kachur for comments on the incident.

– Yes, unfortunately the accident did happen. Currently, it is difficult to comment on it, a special commission is studying the emergency, and when they have conclusions, we will be able to tell the causes of the tragedy.  The commission consists of specialists and authorized representatives of state supervisory authorities.

I should add that it would be wrong to call what happened an explosion – there was no damage to the shop. However, the main concern for us now is the health of the victim. The company provides full medical support, also many employees expressed their willingness to be donors to save the life of their colleague. More information will be later.
