Seven students, that had diphtheria, have fully recovered and were discharged from the hospital today. This is stated in the information of the Regional Health Center.
Seven out of fifteen students receiving treatment at the regional infectious disease hospital for diphtheria have already been discharged from the medical facility. All of them are healthy, each of them were tested twice. The results of the test showed no diphtheria pathogens.
No new cases of the disease have been recorded in Transcarpathian region. Active vaccination campaign is ongoing.
