The deputies of Volovets district complained to the Cabinet

The deputies of Volovets district council appealed to the government due to the fact that the district hospital may be left without funding. 

Overall, over the last 13 years, 145 inpatient beds have been cut in the hospital. Deputies believe that further cuts are not possible, due to the fact that it will lead to the closure of the inpatient department and the elimination of the Central District Hospital as an institution. The deputies also stress that they have money to pay salaries to district health care workers only for 8 months. They lack almost 3.5 million.

            "The district can not find additional funds due to lack of financial resources. There is no free surplus that could be spent on salaries.

           Transport communications (roads of the national importance, railway Kyiv-Chop, gas compressor station) run throuh Volovets district.

           In addition, Volovets district hospital is located near many ski lifts. In the case of injury such location enables to quickly and efficiently provide medical assistance.

          Given the above arguments, we ask for help in resolving the issue of additional funding and to promptly provide budgetary allocations to ensure paument of wages to health workers," – the statement says.
