The decision to cancel vacation was made to save on heating in educational institutions – Kachur

As we reported, this morning, the protesters for school holidays came to the building of the regional state administration to receive explanation of the sudden decision to cancel the autumn holidays.

They were addressed by the deputy head of the regional administration Ivan Kachur and the Director of the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of the RSA Marianna Klyap.

– The ordinance issued by the head of the regional administration is recommendatory. Therefore, local authorities themselves took the decision to cancel (adjourn) school holidays. In the regional center, it was decided to postpone the holidays to the winter. The decision was made primarily to save on heating in educational institutions – Ivan Kachur said.

Also Marianna Klyap promised to monitor the situation and to talk with the management of schools, in particular, of the regional center to work out the mechanism of work in such situations in the future – the press center of the RSA reported.
