On Saturday, April 22, the Ukrainian-Romanian Neighborliness Day took place in the picturesque village of Nyzhnya Apsha in Tyachiv district.
The leaders of Transcarpathia – Hennadiy Moskal and Mykhailo Rivis – greeted the official delegation of Romanian counties of Maramures and Satu Mare at the checkpoint "Solotvyno-Sighetu Marmatiei."
Then, in the school of Nyzhnya Apsha, the participants of the festival were welcomed by local residents, amateur ensembles of our region and the neighboring counties of Romania.
After the official speeches, Hennadiy Moskal, together with the Romanian prefects signed the "Joint Action Program of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, prefecture of the county Maramures and prefecture of the county Satu Mare for 2018". Also, a cooperation agreement between the heads of the villages Vadu Izei and Khyzha was signed.
Then there were mass celebrations, performances of folk groups from both countries, as every visitor had the opportunity to assess the work of craftsmen, taste national dishes and drinks from different districts of Transcarpathia.
