The criminal case over the deadly accident in Khust has been instituted

November 19 on the bypass road of Khust an accident occurred in which two people were killed – a 32-year-old mother and her seven-year old daughter, two more children are in intensive care. 
The Khust City Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region instituted criminal proceedings over this accident on the grounds of crime provided under Art.286, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – punishable with imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years. The investigation is controlled by the Khust interdistrict prosecution.
 It has been established that the driver of the "Mitsubishi Pajero" lost control of the car, went into oncoming traffic and collided with the "Daewoo Nexia".
At the moment of the collision in the Daewoo there was a young female driver and three children. As a result of the accident, the mother and her 7-year-old daughter died on the spot, two children, a boy of 9 and a girl of 12 years with severe injuries are being treated in intensive care unit of the district hospital.
The 54-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi was not injured.
Currently the investigation is being conducted, all circumstances of the accident are being clarified – informed the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Transcarpathian region.
