The court returned to Uzhgorod residents 2 UAH bus fare

"Today in the morning Uzhgorod City Court quashed the decision of the executive committee of Uzhgorod City Council to raise the bus fare. The public won this round. Interests of Uzhgorod residents were represented by the activist Vitaly Gregor (NGO "Youth Initiative of Uzhgorod") and the lawyer Oleksandr Volosyansky ("Batkivshchyna").

The City Hall has time to appeal. The city council lawyers actually did not attend the hearing. We’ll see whether the City Council will appeal and what the appellate court will say.
