The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine announced the competition "Best practices of local self-government" in 2015 for local governments at all levels.
The aim of the contest is the selection, honouring and dissemination of best projects and programs of local self-governments on socio-economic development of the territories that have been successfully implemented.
This year, the themes of the contest are:
- Cooperation of communities: practical outcomes and benefits.
- Energy conservation and energy efficiency.
- Stimulation of economic activity, job creation.
The contest is held in cooperation with the Council of Europe.
To participate in the contest, fill in the application form (download a text file) and send it by September 30, 2015 via email to [email protected].
Practices implemented between 2013 and 2015 are elligible for the contest in 2015.
