In March, Hennadiy Moskal initiated the construction of a dirt road between the villages of Nimetska Mokra (Tyachiv district) and Kolochava (Mizhhirya district). The setllements are separated by a mountain and are considered dead-end. People travelling from Ust-Chorna cluster to Mizhhirya district have to make a huge 170 kilometers detour.
– The dirt road with a total length of about 10 kilometers is being built from both directions using the equipment of the forestry and the National Park "Synevyr", – H. Moskal said, who personally inspected the construction. – This will be the only motorway connection between the two neighboring districts, which will give a major boost to tourism and strengthen economic, cultural and family ties between residents of Mizhhirya and Tyachiv districts. From Tyachiv district, a 4.5-kilometer-long stretch has already been laid, water drain has been arranged, gravel is being poured. Over the past two months, the forestry has done titanic work, now even an ordinary passenger car can drive on this road in dry weather. But in Mizhhirya district, the work has barely begun. The mountain streams are washing away the road track, gravel is not being poured, although the National Park "Synevyr" has a powerful technique. I had a serious conversation with the head of Mizhhirya district state administration and warned him that if he does not rectify the situation in the coming days, very harsh conclusions will be made. Local villagers have been waiting for the construction of the road between the two districts for decades, so this delay is incomprehensible and unjustified.
