The Concept of innovative development for decades has been developed at UzhNU

The press conference on the results of execution of the research project and the presentation of the Concept "Innovation University – the tool of integration into the European educational and scientific space" took place in UzhNU.

The aim of the project is the development of the Concept of innovative European-style university at the Uzhgorod National University for 2015-2025. This will allow to effectively implement an innovative structure in Transcarpathia – Science park "Uzhgorod National University." 

The Project Coordinator, the Director of the Institute of European Integration Studies Ivan Artiomov said: "Recently, we presented the project at the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. They highly praised it there and noted that this work is valuable not only because of the scientific park, but also, which is very important, because of the system for monitoring the quality of implementation of innovative components."

Serhiy Ustych, the Director of the CBC Institute – a partner organization of UzhNU in the project said: "Timely investment is a great success, belated one is a big problem, and lack of investment and innovation is a big loss. Innovations have become a trend, but this is an effective project aimed at solving specific tasks. For Transcarpathia, the success of innovative university is very important."

Yosyp Holovach, the director of the Analytical Technique Tools Research Institute at UzhNU notes that the science park should encourage scientists to practical research, and the university – to the search of real investment.   

Uzhgorod National University implements the research project with the support of the Visegrad Fund. Foreign project partners: University of Rzeszow (Poland), University of Debrecen (Hungary), Technical University in the city of Kosice (Slovakia).
