Public hearings took place in Uzhgorod District State Administration. They discussed the Detailed plan of the territory for placement of solid household waste processing facility, outside of the settlement, in the territory of the Irlyava village council, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reported.
Residents of the villages of Uzhgorod district – Dubrivka, Irlyava, Andriivka, Chabanivka – took part in the hearings, a total of about 86 participants.
It was about a solid waste processing plant.
Architect Vitaliy Huryn (Smarttown LLC, developer) addressed the community of Uzhgorod district. He said that during the development of the plan it was taken into account that the facility must be environmentally friendly. Here, in particular, modern technologies will be used. In addition, the requirements for distance to both settlements and roads or bodies of water will be met.
The participants of the meeting were also informed that Detailed plan of the territory had passed the procedure of strategic environmental assessment.
