At the Regional Council, during an extended meeting with heads of district councils and mayors of cities of regional importance, they harshly criticized the management of the regional Road service. Poor quality of work and materials and high cost of services – all that was the subject of hot debate in the hall. The acting head of the Road service in Transcarpathian region Mykhailo Popovich was invited to the meeting. Chairmen of district councils insisted that the money should be allocated to local budgets and local governments should decide on the roads to be repaired. "Intermediaries", such as "Budkomplekttorh" should be excluded.
Mykhailo Popovich said that from now on, the communities will know the amounts for current and capital repairs, and will determine areas of work.
