The City Prosecutor’s Office opened administrative proceedings against officials of Uzhgorod City Council

January 23, Uzhgorod prosecutors opened administrative proceedings against officials of Uzhgorod City Council over the administrative offense under Part 2 of Art. 185⁶ of the CAO (Failure to fulfill court order or a decision of a judge or a prosecutor – punishable by a fine of 20 to 50 tax-free minimum incomes).

Officials of Uzhgorod City Council, having received the order fo the Uzhgorod prosecutor dd. 19.12.2012 to cancel the decision of the executive committee of the city council, did not promptly initiate the consideration thereof and did not provide a response within the period specified by the prosecutor.

In this regard, the protocol on the administrative offense has been referred to the court, and the controversial decision of the executive committee of the city council has been appealed in court.
