The city prize of Oleksandr Dukhnovich will be introduced in Mukachevo

At the regular session of the City Council to be held on December 15, the depuies plan to establish Mukachevo city Oleksandr Dukhnovich Prize. The total amount of the prize is 240,000 UAH.

The prize will be awarded to educators, writers, artists, living and working in the city of Mukachevo for:

– Highly artistic works in the genres of poetry, prose, drama, literature for children;

– Outstanding achievements in the field of pedagogy, literature, journalism;

– Outstanding achievements in the field of fine arts, theater and music.

The prize shall be awarded annually in six categories, but no more than one in each area:

– "Fiction"

– "Educational activity"

– "Literature and journalism"

– "Music and performing arts’

– "Fine and Applied Arts"

– "Theater Arts"

A person may be awarded the prize in each category only once in his or her life. The awarding ceremony shall take place on the birthday of Oleksandr Dukhnovich, April 24, during the festive celebrations.

Submissions for the prize shall be made to the Department of Culture of the Executive Committee of Mukachevo City Council by February 1 at Dukhnovich Sq., 2, office № 54.
