As you know, a blatant theft of city property was committed in Uzhgorod.On the night of May 14, 6 CCTV cameras were stolen from the city streets: near the shop "Osetia", two on ​​Cyril and Methodius square, near the non-stop shop on Shvabska street, on Ankudinov and Bercheni streets.

The city authorities say that they were working quickly and efficiently – they unscrewed the cameras within about 15 minutes, using the ladder. The equipment is quite expensive and needed for the city.

The Deputy Mayor of Uzhgorod Yaroslav Shafar appeals to citizens asking, if you witnessed the theft or have information about it, or know that someone is selling cameras that could be the ones that were stolen (by the way, they have individual codes) or any information about that, please help the city. Yaroslav promised a reward for useful information. It amounts to 1,000 UAH. You can call by 0937004515 (anonymity guaranteed). The city authorities stress that actions that harm Uzhgorod should be punished, and we have to live in a safe and comfortable city.
