The illegal trade in Uzhgorod will be dealt with. Today, employees of the municipal police and law enforcement department of the City Council in conjunction with patrol policemen conducted preventive and explanatory work among vendors who trade right opposite the entrance to the market on Koryatovich square ("green market").
This was reported by the press service of Uzhgorod City Council.
In particular, it was stressed that they conduct trade in prohibited place, clutter up sidewalks, sell food from the ground, while just 20 meters away, there is a market where there is free trade space. And they asked to remove the goods from the street.
After talking with the police, the vendors, though reluctantly, went away.
Combating illegal trade will be systemic and raids will take place not only in the center, but also throughout the city.
