The chief police officer of the region promised that he would not send security forces to Kyiv

"The people in Uzhgorod moved to the regional office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Currently, there is no storming. They are demanding to talk with the chief of the police," – public activist, journalist Andriy Hanusych wrote in his facebook.

Vasyl Vartsaba came out to protesters. He gave his word that there would not be any force against the protesters, and no policeman would be sent to Kyiv. 

Protesters are calling the police to support the people. 

The people returned to the RSA. By the way, Uzhgorod city council deputy Viktor Shchadey was elected the commandant of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration from activists.
