The Center “Way of Life” celebrated the Day of People with Disabilities (PHOTOS)

December 3 is the International Day of People with Disabilities. The medical and social rehabilitation center "Way of Life" this day always receives many guests who come to pay attention to the children of the Center and respect to its employees.

And today, the "Way of Life" again received representatives of regional and city departments of social protection, the Regional Council of Trade Unions, the deputy mayor of Uzhgorod Oleksandr Bilak, true friends of the Center – Rotary Club "Uzhgorod-Skala" and the head of the Transcarpathian Writers’ Union Vasyl Husti, together with the workers of the Regional Library. As always, the guests did not come empty-handed.

In his opening remarks, the Director of the "Way of Life" Oleg Kyrylenko said that the establishment of the institution in the late 90s was an event of utmost importance, because it started to solve the problem of isolation of people with disabilities from the society. Now, Oleg Kyrylenko said, in the new premises of the "Way of Life", children with disabilities have the opportunity to learn in inclusive classes, professional doctors monitor their health and mental state, and young people have the opportunity to obtain independent living skills.  

Children and staff of the Centre gladly watched a small concert that the dance group of Uzhgorod Art School had prepared for them. And then, traditionally, there was a sweet table.
