"I am shocked by the photographs of piles of garbage in the vicinity of Rakhiv – the geographical center of Europe. Frankly speaking, it is a disgrace.
I demand from the Ministry of Environment, the State Ecological Inspecorate and the Transcarpathian Regional Administration to immediately organize the elimination of the dump in the vicinity of most high-altitude city in Ukraine. Those responsible for that must be held accountable, and similar situations must not be repeated in the future" – Valeriy Voschevsky – the Vice Prime-Minister of Ukraine published his appeal in Facebook.
