The observatory "White Elephant" is in the field of view of activists who are ensuring that it is at least clean there. "I decided to spend 10 days of the holiday on the Pip Ivan. It was fun, we worked and rested a little, – Vasyl Fitsa wrote on his page on Facebook. – At first, when we came, as always, we collected two bags of garbage. During that entire period, we recorded 335 tourist groups consisting of 1833 persons in total. I personally talked with leaders of each group, and you’re not going to believe it, but during that entire period, no one left any garbage at the top, except two PET bottles, a can, some napkins and candy wrappers. Sadly, people were riding motocross bikes on the Chorna Hora ridge, and they would react to my remarks differently," – the statement reads.

Recall that the building of the astronomical and meteorological observatory on the Pip Ivan peak, also known as the White Elephant, still attracts attention. According to many experts, it can be a valid tourist attraction.
