The car that was searched by the Interpol was found today at the Chop border

This morning, at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod", border guards found a vehicle listed as stolen.
During the check of the documents for a car Volkswagen driven by a 43-year-old Transcarpathian en route to Slovakia, the vehicle was checked against the Interpol databases. The car was found in the system, so border guards informed representatives of the Interpol Bureau and the National Police.
At the request of the border guards, the Interpol Bureau confirmed that the car had been stolen in Ukraine last May.
According to the press service of the Chop Border Guard Detachment, after the the relevant procedures, the car and documents were handed over to officers of the National Police.
