The car and cigarettes found in a pseudo-diplomat’s at the checkpoint “Tisa” were seized

Thus, today the investigating judge of the Uzhgorod City and District Court considered and upheld in full the petition of the investigator of the Main Office of the State Fiscal Service in Transcarpathian region, approved by the prosecutor of the Transcarpathian regional prosecutor’s office, to seize the confiscated property. In particular, it is a car "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter" and cigarettes in the amount of 183,750 packs, with an estimated value of over UAH 7 million.
The incident was registered in the URPI on the grounds of criminal offenses under Part 1 of Art. 204 (illegal transportation of tobacco products for the purpose of sale) and Part 1 of Art. 358 (forgery of an official document) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.
