The campaign “Gifts for pupils” starts in Uzhgorod

 On Thursday, August 1, at 13.00, in Uzhgorod Press Club there will be a press conference dedicated to the launch of the charity campaign "Gifts for pupils." The event was initiated by the Association of Youth Initiatives with the Uzhgorod city organization of the Red Cross of Ukraine and Uzhgorod press-club.

              From 05.08 to 25.08.2013, the organizers offer residents of Uzhgorod to collect school supplies, toys and books for children from poor families. All collected items will be donated to children from families who are registered as indigent. The results of the campaign will be summed up on August 25, at 18.00, during the concert on Teatralna square. 

      The press conference will be attended by:

Petro Renzhyn, Chairman of the Association of Youth Initiatives of the Region;

Valentyna Mytrovtsiy, Chairman of Uzhgorod City Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.
