The Cabinet decided on registration of unconventially born babies

The Cabinet has formulated rules for registration of children born outside medical institutions.

According to Ukrinform, with reference to the Ministry of Health, one will be able to register such child only upon the approval of medical advisory board.

In order to receive it, one will have to submit the statement on the birth of a child. The list of documents to be submitted includes: a passport or other document that proves identity, prenatal record from maternity clinic or ward or extract from the medical record, test results, results of ultrasound examination performed during pregnancy, copy of the card about the ambulance call, certificate of genetic relationship between a woman and a child, medical certificate from medical advisory board about the examination of a baby, and certificate of the examination of a woman to confirm recent childbirth. All these documents should be prepared within a week after the birth.
