The boy, who had leukemia, has died

Vasyl Lehach passed away today, November 25.
 The sad news was reported by volunteers who were raising money for the treatment of the young Transcarpathian
The boy is from the village of Zabrid, Khust district. He was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. For the past several years, he was being treated at the Transcarpathian Regional Children’s Hospital. But after years of examinations the conclusion was disappointing – the child could not be completely cured in Ukraine.
Volunteers raised the necessary funds to send Vasyl and his mother for treatment abroad.
In November, a number of charity events were held at institutions in different cities, fairs and concerts. Everybody was raising money to save the sick boy.
Last week, volunteers reported disappointing news – the boy was in a critical condition.
Everyone hoped for a miracle, the doctors did their best, but the boy could not be saved.
