Today, in the town of Iziaslav in Khmelnytsky region, there was the funeral of the border guard Vadim Berezensky, who died from injuries sustained while performing official duties in Transcarpathia.
Along with his family and friends, the Chief of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Colonel-General Petro Tsyhykal, the leadership of the Western Regional Office, the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Mukachevo and Chop detachments came to pay homage to the border guard. The funeral was also attended by numerous friends and colleagues, the zakarpatpost.net reported with reference to the dpsu.gov.ua.
All personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine bowed their heads to honor Vadim Berezensky with a minute of silence and expressed their condolence to the family of the border guard.
