The best, the most original and the luckiest will win in Uzhgorod parade of brides

The ‘Parade of Brides 2012’ program, which will be held in Uzhgorod on Sunday, June 24, was presented in Uzhgorod Press Club.

This is already the fifth Uzhgorod parade of brides. The organizers informed that this time nearly 160 girls will participate, that is much more then the last year’s, which overstated the Moscow counterpart by the number of participants.

All the participants were divided into groups. There will be twelve groups this year. Each group will be photographed in different parts of the city. Therefore all the Uzhgorod citizens will be able to see unusual brides. Unusual because the designers, makeup artists and photographer will use their imagination and girls will appear in a quite extraordinary angles.

‘The town of Uzhgorod will turn into the brides’ town on Sunday, – informs one of the parade’s organizers Rostyslav Bulanov. – We are convinced that more than half of the girls will be very original. Many of them even sew dresses for themselves especially for “Parade of Brides 2012”. There will also take place a traditional walking procession from the hotel “Zakarpattia”, along Svobody Avenue, Bogdan Khmelnytskyi Square, Lva Tolstogo Street, Petefi Square and finish it on Teatralna Square’.

The organizers increased the number of prize nominations this year. There will be eight of them: ‘The Best Dress’, ‘The Most Original Dress’, ‘The Best Hairdo’, ‘The Most Original Hairdo’, ‘The Best Makeup’, ‘The Most Original Makeup’, ‘The Best Wedding Bouquet’ and ‘The Most Original Wedding Bouquet’. And the grand prize – a trip to Europe – will be competed in the lottery. That is why the luckiest participant of ‘Parade of Brides 2012’ will win.

The organizers also informed that there will be a lot of surprises. One of them is the pedestrian bridge decorated in the wedding style. More expect on Sunday, June 24.
