The best of voices of the “Vibrant Country” were announced Uzhgorod

The participants of the Nationwide Open Children and Youth Choral Festival-Competition "Voices of the Vibrant Country" presented an enchanting gala concert on the stage of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.

The second consecutive festival of singing talents traditionally lasted three days, during which guests were discovering picturesque Uzhgorod and performing in its most interesting cultural locations. Yesterday, the competition day took place in Uzhgorod State Music College. 

The performances were judged by representatives of Transcarpathian culture – People’s Artist of Ukraine Emil Sokach, Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Volontyr and Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Yuriy Hleba, and invited judges – experienced teachers and renowned artists Natalia Manko (Lviv), Marina Goncharenko (Chernihiv) and Olena Astasheva (Kyiv).  

The Jury Chairman was Ph.D., assistant professor of choral conducting department of Odessa National Music Academy, winner of international competitions Nina Zabolotna (Odessa).

Opening the gala concert, the Jury Chairman expressed gratitude to all those involved in the festival: the organizer, the head of the NGO "Vibrant Country" Olga Oblasova and her team for the excellent idea and appropriate implementation, the head of the culture department of Transcarpathia Victoria Frolova – for strong support of the festival-competition and hospitable reception, and the jury – for a surprisingly harmonious work and interesting communication. Nina Zabolotna also noted the high level of competition, which was the result of a hard work of teachers and contestants. 

Then one by one, 18 collectives presented their performances to the audience, and were awarded with diplomas and gifts.   

The organizers promised to return to Uzhgorod soon with new interesting art projects, they say: Transcarpathia enchants with its landscapes, architecture, history and culture, as well as friendly residents who make this place ideal for creative development and recreation of our gifted children and youth.
