Transcarpathian band "Rock-H" on their page on Facebook ask Ukrainian stations to include the group’s songs to their playlists:
"Do you have a colleague, an acquaintance, a friend or a relative working at one of the radio stations in Ukraine? Then this post is for you!
The band Rock-H ask to help spread the following information among employees of Ukrainian radio stations:
We, the band Rock-H, during 8 years have recorded 45 (forty five) studio tracks in Ukrainian. Among them, there are both lyrical and rhythmic dance songs. We are presenting them for your consideration hoping that they will find a place in your playlists. It will give us inspiration for further creative work!"
The post dated November 3 has gathered over a thousand likes and 600 shares. So, let’s hope that it did reach its destination.
Recall that a month ago, "Rock-H" and Ivan Popovich released a video for the song "Close to the Sun."
And recently the Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Television and Radio" came into force. According to the law, the share of broadcasting in Ukrainian language should be not less than 50%. In addition, at least 35% of the songs on the radio must be in Ukrainian.
