In September, the average salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine increased by 3.3% or UAH 138 compared to August and amounted to UAH 4,343.
This was reported by the UNIAN referring to the State Statistics Service.
The number of full-time employees in Ukraine, according to the State Statistics Service, in September remained at 8 million people, as in the previous month.
The highest average salary in September was recorded in air transport – UAH 19.6 thousand, in financial and insurance activities – UAH 8,4 thousand, and in scientific and technical industry – UAH 6,7 thousand.
The lowest level of average salary in September was recorded in the postal and courier activities – UAH 2,200, health care – UAH 2,800, education – UAH 3,200.
According to the State Statistics Service, the average salary of full-time employees rose compared with August in education – by 14.4%, land and pipeline transport – by 10.5% and agriculture – by 8.5%.
Decrease in the average salary compared with the previous month was recorded in water transport – by 13%, in public administration and defense and compulsory social insurance field – by 4,2%, postal and courier activities – by 2.5%.
The average salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine in August decreased by 4.2% or UAH 185 to UAH 4,205 from UAH 4,390 in the previous month.
