The attempt of illegal car transfer stopped at a checkpoint ‘Vylok’

Yesterday, at a checkpoint ‘Vylok’ there was foiled an attempt to smuggle a ‘Skoda Octavia’ car into the territory of Ukraine. Having a fake power of attorney for operating a vehicle, a driver, 27-year-old citizen of the Czech Republic, was trying to illegally pass the border.
While studying the documents of the vehicle, the guards noticed that the driver was rather nervous. As it turned out, during the check, the power of attorney for operating the above mentioned car, provided for inspection by the Czech citizen, contained inaccurate information.
The car was seized. The vehicle was assessed at 343 000 789 hryvnia, the press service of Mukachevo border detachment informs.
