Yesterday in the ancient architectural monument of the city – the Palanok castle, there was a ceremonial opening of the exhibition "Border" by Beata Kurkul dedicated to the heroism of border guards.
In her speech, Beata Kurkul noted that every story is taken from the lives of people, who defend us, who saw the war with their own eyes, showed resilience in extraordinary conditions. The artist knows many of them in person.
After the official part, the participants were invited to view the exhibition. The artist told about the history of every picture presented at the exhibition, touching stories about heroes and events depicted in her works.
On the occasion of the exhibition opening, visitors of the castle had an opportunity to see military equipment and vehicles of the Mukachevo border guard detachment, which were exhibited in the middle court of the Palanok.
