The Arctic air mass is moving to Transcarpathia

Transcarpathian Regional Center for Hydrometeorology informs about weather conditions in Transcarpathian region. 
Storm warning 
During September 18-19, due to the inflow of Arctic air mass from the north, the weather conditions in Transcarpathian region are expected to deteriorate. The temperature will drop to 3-8°C at night, 15-20°C in the daytime, and 7-12°C in the highlands. 
On the night of September 18, coldsnap will be accompanied by gusts of north wind of 15-20 m / s. The weather will remain cool on September 20-22. On September 23-25, there will be gradual increase in air temperature. 
Fire hazard warning: During September 17-18, in most parts of the Transcarpathian region high (4th class) fire hazard will remain. 
WEATHER FORECAST 
For the day from 21.00 September 17 to 21.00 September 18, 2020, in Transcarpatha region: Partly cloudy weather, intermittent rain at night, no significant precipitation during the day. Fog at night and in the morning. North wind of 5-10, with gusts of 15-20 m / s in some places. Air temperature at night will be 5-10°, in the daytime 16-21°, in the mountains sometimes up to 3° at night, 8-11° in the daytime.

In Uzhgorod: Partly cloudy weather, no significant precipitations. North wind of 7-12 m / s. The temperature will be 8-10° at night, 18-20° in the daytime.
