This was announced by the publisher Oleksandra Harkusha on her page on Facebook:
"The recently published book "Architectural heritage of Uzhgorod" contains about five hundred photographs collected by enthusiast architects, members of the former architectural and restoration workshop, in the early 1990’s. The activities of the workshop were aimed at the survey of architectural objects of the city and preservation of historical monuments of architecture. The unique photographs give an opportunity to see the city that has already been partially lost.
The photos capture the buildings of the oldest part of the city – Castle Hill and its surroundings, the buildings of the administrative-residential districts of Small Galagov, Great Galagov, mansions and villas.
The buildings marked by the architects strike with the diversity of architectural forms, the quality of construction work, high artistic taste, wide application of decorative elements. The exquisite buildings became a decoration of the city and formed the unique architectural face of Uzhgorod."
