Today, on June 5, the grand opening of the All-Ukrainian competition of ambulance crews "Transcarpathian Medical Rally -2019" took place on Narodna Square in Uzhgorod.
The competition is attended by 34 teams from various regions of Ukraine, as well as 6 teams from Romania, Lithuania, Slovakia, Poland.
The grand opening of this event was attended by the management of the region, the Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, UzhNU, foreign guests and judges.
Yaroslav Halas, the head of the regional state administration, Mykhailo Rivis, the chairman of the regional council, and others addressed the participants with welcoming speeches.
Yaroslav Halas, in his speech, noted that it is a high honor for our region to host such competition, which was won by the crew of the Transcarpathian Territorial Center for Emergency Medical Aid last year. And he added that the participants would take part in spectacular contests, during which they would demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
After that, the teams posed for a group picture. And, according to the program, the drivers of the teams departed to the territory of the "Uzhgorod" airport for the competition, and other participants went to the conference room of UzhNU to participate in a scientific practical conference.
